We have a 130-year-old farmhouse, and with this spring’s thaw and heavy rain, we experienced our first-ever water issue in the original part of the house. Curtis responded to my inquiry the very next day and even came out on a Saturday. He was calm, thoughtful, and clear in diagnosing the problem, and he proposed a complete solution that respected the integrity of our old foundation. Within a day and a half, Curtis and his crew were onsite and hard at work. His team was wonderful—kind, courteous, and highly efficient. As a bonus, the work comes with a 20-year transferable warranty, which gives us real peace of mind. We’re deeply grateful for the support. Rhage Contracting has been an excellent company to work with. Curtis, Kyle and Tyler were all very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. They located and fixed a large crack in our foundation and also installed a French drain. The work was completed efficiently - even with a toddler and large dog providing interruptions. We had an unrelated emergency with a pipe occur while the crew was there, and they were able to locate the leak, shut off the water, helped with clean up and provided help dealing with the issue. Curtis is always available to answer questions throughout the process and even helped with documentation needed for the insurance company. It was a pleasure working with Rhage. Rhage Contracting came over to waterproof a dryer vent exhaust that was below grade. They provided the better solution of bringing the exhaust a few feet up above the ground within the wall. When opening the wall, it was apparent that the water line going to the hose line outside was leaking inside the wall. Although the job was bigger than initially expected, they came in and fixed the leak, ran new plumbing, rerouted the exhaust and filled the old hole in a single day, staying until the job was finished -- on a Sunday no less. Very impressed with the workmanship and diligence throughout the project. Also, pricing was very fair, and they didn't try to overcharge despite the unexpected additions to job. ~ Deon J

Initially, I called Rhage contracting regarding our sump pump drainage and a hole in the basement. Curtis sent someone by within the week to document and take photos and later when I had a phone call with Curtis about it he ended up coming by to check on some things and we added parging of our garage, cleaning up our dimple board and changing the sump pump as well. On job day, Curtis and his team were punctual, polite, efficient and neat. The jobs they completed around our house were done beautifully and faster than expected. I was introduced by a friend to Rhage Contracting. From the first conversation I had with the owner I knew I had found a great company to work with. Had a water ingress in my home through the wall in my crawlspace. They sent someone right away to assess the issue and come up with a great plan to repair and prevent any further issues down the road. They worked with me to set up a quick appointment to get the repairs done. The crew was exceptional very meticulous in their work ethics. The repairs went flawlessly and they came back a month later to follow up and re lay down my patio stones, grooming the area after settlement was completed. If you need any work done I recommend Rhage Contracting they do it all and very well. I am a customer for life now and will call upon them for any other work I need complete. Right from our initial conversation, Curtis was amazing to deal with. He was prompt, professional and explained the steps needed to fix our foundation cracks. Curtis and his crew really came through for my family and I. What started off as a small amount of water in our basement family room turned into an absolute nightmare. Before we knew it the whole floor was submerged. Curtis came in, assessed the cause which ended up being ground water and wrote me a report for my insurance and was back the next day with his crew to install a French drain and sump pump system. Contacted them for water seeping in from my basement floor. Immediately identified the problem as hydrostatic pressure and said we need a French drain installed to rectify the problem. Had a date scheduled but, after a few days of heavy rain, called and asked if we could move the timeline up. With a bit of moving around of their schedule they managed to move the timeline up 3 weeks. The crew was on time daily, answered any and all questions and worked quickly to have our new system put in place. Would highly recommend these guys! ~ andrew b

Needed to install window wells on some new basement windows and I got a hold of Curtis. He took a look within a day and also solved my problem with some cut outs for the basement windows. When installing the wells he found some issues and solved them with a reasonable fix that worked within my budget and also solved that issue within a week. The team is great and they handle confusions/issues/mistakes with other contractors and provide warnings where needed. I initially contacted Rhage Contracting over the drain from the sump pump being disrupted by city road work and water being discharged onto the sidewalk and road. (In the end, the city dealt with the drain issue.) The unfinished basement was always wet in heavy rains or in spring from snow melt and the ground thawing. Kyle assessed the whole problem and explained in detail how they could install a proper sump pump and a French drain around the perimeter of the basement inside and waterproof the walls to keep the basement dry. He answered all my questions and I didn't know until then there was an affordable solution. Curtis followed up with a phone call, sent a contract and kept me updated every step of the way. I have never encountered a more professional, efficient and knowledgeable team. It is a huge improvement in the basement and definitely increases the value of the house. I contacted Rhage contracting after reading reviews on line specific for basement water seepage problems. All the reviews were excellent. Curtis returned my call promptly and sent out an estimator. He then called to explain what would need to be done. The construction crew were able to come in quickly and were courteous and professional. Carter and the crew answered all my questions, listened to my concerns and kept me updated throughout the process. Curtis maintained good dialogue with the crew and came to the job periodically to check on progress. He also kept me in the loop with regular texts. The communication back and forth was excellent. I have an older house which can sometimes be challenging for renovations, but the crew found solutions and went beyond expectations. They connected the drain in the crawlspace with the basement drain, which were on different levels. My basement is dry now, and this will become a more useable space. Rage Contracting repaired a Crack/leak in our foundation coming from a basement window. They also had to replaced replaced the weeping tile under that same window. The whole process was done that same day. Curtis and his crew were very knowledgeable and professional and did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
